NASC Stock Detail Page

NASC ID: N30918

Name: NFB1

ABRC stock number: CS30918

Description: homologous to human CAF1 subunit B or yeast CAC2, the p60 subunit s of human and yeast chromatin assembly factor I , respectively. Human CAF1 is composed of three subunits that are 150 kd, 60 kd and 48 kd in size. The smallest subunit dissociates during G1 phase of the cell cycle. CAF1 is thought to deposit histones H3 and H4 onto newly replicated DNA such that histone H2A and H2B can then bind to form nucleosome core particles.

Germplasm Info

Seed type: RNA silencing

Mutagen: ema

Background: Ws-2(N2360)

Marker used: T-DNA marker=Hygromycin

Transformation method: This mutant was produced using Agrobacterium-mediated transformation using a binary vector containing a fragment of the target gene in an inverted repeat orientation for RNAi silencing. The transformation was carried out using the floral dip method. The transgene is a single-copy or low-copy insertion event, as determined by DNA gel blot analysis (data will be posted at ChromDB: (http://chromdb.org/).
